This tour is for all ages and a must for nature lovers. We visit the impressive Cederberg Mountains which in fact is the beginning of the Cape Fold Belt Mountain Range. The Fold Belt is a very old sandstone range that was thrust up during the formation of the supercontinent of Pangea. We traverse these mountains, witnessing some of the best remnants of the folded sandstone rocks and also experience immensely beautiful natural areas. The tour is very much an adventure safari and we use a capable 4×4 Landcruiser to negotiate the tough terrain.
The itinerary is as follows:
Collection is at your lodging at 06h00.
A roadside picnic is enjoyed as soon as we leave the paved road and switch over to gravel, indicating the start of the mountain range.

After sampling the wines we head onto the small but historic town of Wuppertal, well known for its rich history, leather shoes and homemade soap. The road there takes us through the heart of the mountains.
The scenic Biedouw valley follows next after which we enjoy a picnic style roadside lunch amongst the beautiful sandstone formations.
