  • This adventure combines culture, scenic as well as wildlife and includes:
    2 evenings in Cape Town.
    8 evenings in towns along the garden route.
    All accommodation is in top quality self-catering lodges and guest houses.
    The tour commences and ends in Cape Town.

    A shortened itinerary is as follows:

    Day 1
    Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport your host collects you and we spend the rest of the day exploring the Cape.
    After an action packed day we book into our self-catering lodging at the V and A Waterfront, where we spend the next two nights.
    Dinners as well as morning breakfasts are expertly prepared by your host.

    Day 2
    We spend the day out exploring Cape Town.

    Day 3
    We say goodbye to Cape Town and spend the day exploring the Cape Winelands.
    Tonight we lodge in the historic town of Franschhoek.
    Lodging is at a well-appointed guest house and dinner is enjoyed at one of the many restaurants in town.

    Day 4
    A scenic drive follows to the coastal town of Mossel Bay where we spend tonight in great self-catering lodging
    For dinner you are spoilt with a traditional South African braai!

    Day 5
    Today we travel to Plettenberg Bay and the drive is very scenic and spectacularly beautiful.
    Our self-catering lodging has magic views of the ocean and tonight you are treated to a seafood delight.

    Day 6 & 7
    Addo National park is our next stop and we spend 2 evenings self -catering inside the park.
    This allows us ample time to explore the park for elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, buffalo and many others.

    Day 8
    Today we start our return journey and Port Elizabeth is our destination for tonight.
    Upon arrival we explore the town and enjoy dinner in one of the many great eateries.

    Day 9
    A 3 hour drive follows and we lodge in a beautiful mid-sized town called George.
    Dinner is again expertly prepared by your host.

    Day 10
    After yet another scenic drive we reach small seaside town of Hermanus and spend the afternoon visiting some of the many curio shops and stalls.
    Hermanus is an delightful town and bound to be one of the highlights of your tour.

    Day 11
    We explore the scenic option back to Cape Town and have a final picnic en route before delivering you to the airport for your homeward flight.

    Chapman’s Peak Drive

  • This adventure combines culture, scenic as well as wildlife and includes:
    1 night in Windhoek.
    3 at Etosha National Park and 6 nights in various Namibian towns.
    All accommodation except the first and last evening is tented (lodging options are possible).
    The adventure commences and ends in Windhoek, capital city of Namibia.

    A shortened itinerary is as follows:

    Day 1
    After collection at the airport we enjoy a short orientation tour of the city, after which we book into our self-catering lodging for the night.
    Dinner as well as morning breakfast is prepared by your host.

    Day 2 & 3
    Our destination today is Soussusvlei the highest sand dunes on earth.
    We set up camp inside the reserve and this will be our home for 2 nights.
    Dinners are prepared over our open campfire whilst we enjoy picnic style morning meals.

    Day 4
    German colonial town Swakopmund is a must for any visit to Namibia and today we head off there, exploring town soon after arrival.

    Day 5 & 6
    Twyfelfontein is our next destination and we set up camp at Aba Huab, our home for 2 nights.
    While here we explore the many attractions in the area, amongst others the rock engravings and petrified forest.

    Day 7, 8 & 9
    A visit to Namibia isn’t complete without quality time at Etosha National Park and we spend 3 nights camping under the stars, listening to the wonderful night sounds.
    Days are spent on game drives and we hope to find Africa’s big five!

    Day 10
    Today we head back direction Windhoek and spend a wonderful last evening lodging at Frans Indongo lodge, a private reserve with a healthy rhino population.

    Day 11
    After a hearty breakfast we arrive in Windhoek late morning for your homeward journey.

  • This package has a high wildlife content and and is action packed from start to finish.
    We enjoy all of Botswana’s wildlife gems and camping in the wild is our accommodation of choice.
    The adventure commences and ends in Kasane, Botswana.

    A shortened itinerary is as follows:

    Day 1
    After arrival in Kasane we set up camp on the banks of the Chobe River.
    Late afternoon we enter the Chobe National Park for a game drive.

    Day 2
    We start the day early with another game drive and hope to see more of Chobe’s many animals.
    Late afternoon we embark on a 3 hr boat cruise on the mighty Chobe.

    Day 3
    After packing up camp we head south and arrive at Planet Baobab, our lodging for tonight.
    A walk through the gigantic trees is a must and dinner around campfire follows soon after.

    Day 4 & 5
    We have a short but intense drive today as we make our way to Nxai pan, one of the dry pans of the ancient Mkagadigadi salt pan system.
    We will spend 2 nights camping in the wild and embark on a number of game drives, hoping to see many of the wild animals that roam the area.

    Day 6 & 7
    After a replenishment stop in Maun we continue on to Moremi and set up camp at 3rd bridge or destination for the next two nights.
    Camping is wild and we enjoy long game drives.

    Day 8 & 9
    Savuti is known for its many lions and it will be our base for the next 2 nights.
    Camping is wild again and game drives promise to be action packed!

    Day 10
    Todays drive is long and slow and brings us back to Kasane where we spend our last evening lodging in the beautiful Chobe Safari Lodge.

    Day 11
    After breakfast you are delivered to Kasane airport for your onward journey.
    (A visit to the Victoria Falls is a logical add on to this adventure and can be arranged with pleasure).
