OUR SMALL GROUP SAFARIS FOR CLOSE FRIENDS

At Africa’s Best Adventures we find that travelling in an intimate friend group brings out the best in each individual in the group and the overall camaraderie during and after the safari is amazing. Although we call safaris of this nature, small group adventures, it should actually be called “small friend group adventures” as we prefer not to mix strangers together. By doing so we eliminate unpleasant scenarios where strangers find it impossible to gel during the safari, leading to an unpleasant outcome. After an initial discussion we design an adventure perfectly suitable to all numbers of the group and include sufficient items in the itinerary to satisfy everybody’s needs.

A suitable itinerary will have a wildlife aspect, ethic and culture input, a scenic and landscape side and can also include an activity leg enabling the sporty to partake in action activities along the route. Accommodation could be camping, glamping or lodging, depending on taste and budget. A combination of camping and lodging is also possible and sometimes recommended as camping is not only economical but also more practical in wildlife reserves where tented lodging and fireside dinners add immensely to the overall enjoyment and wow factor of the adventure.

Many blissful evenings can be enjoyed around campfire, whilst some are spent being spoilt in a fancy lodge when away from the wildlife attractions. All options are however up for discussion and the final decision to all the above is determined by yourselves.
